Dear Burt,
I want to thank you once again for the excellent work you did on both of these two Penguins including the two baby Penguins attached to the front yard entry as you're driving in. These beauties look like they just came out of the water with 5 coats of that high gloss shine. For me you're well worth every penny, and to think you were able to go from the pictures I took of the Penguins while diving down at the South Pole Antarctica. It's a dream come true to see these two stumps come alive with Penguins rooted and beautiful. THANK YOU.

- Sincerely your Penguin friend, Virginia

Burt,
Hello from Ohio! My name is Jessica and my family and I had the pleasure of seeing your awesome work at the Ohio State fair this year. I would like to say how amazing your work is! It's so neat to watch you turn a piece of wood into such a unique creation!

I went down to the Ohio State fair with my Dad, Mom, little brother and boyfriend last month, with the intention of seeing Journey and checking out the fair. We knew we needed to stop and see your work as soon as we heard about it! My dad was extremely infatuated with what you do! There was one piece in particular: the eagle. My Grandpa (my Dad's Dad) passed away years ago and he LOVED eagles. I found this out when my Dad saw your eagle creation and it really made him emotional. Burt, thank you so much for your time and if there is no way to get in contact with you this year, I guess I will just have to find a fair you come to next year!

- Jessica

Hello Mr. Fleming!
It's that time of year again for the Farmers' Market to open. We so enjoyed having you last year. We still get many compliments on our "Mel" statue.

- Jill

Hello friend,
Greetings from the Washington Parish Free Fair! I thought I'd drop you a line to see if you would be free to work the fair again this year. People are still talking about your work and are eager to have you back. Email back or give me a call. Looking forward to hearing from you.

- Stuart

Burt,
You did some beautiful carvings at the Washington Parish Fair yesterday. The face on the Indian was beautiful. The wood grain made his face appear to be 100 year old Indian. And the bass fish was also beautiful. You are a very talented man and myself and my wife loved watching you work.

- Thanks, Charles

Hi Burt,
I bought an echo chainsaw recently and got your video. Thought you might like to know that I have been carving for over forty years and lo and behold I learnt something from you. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

- Bob

I just got your Let's Carve A Bear DVD, and Let's Carve a Face. I wanted to thank you for having the best instructional DVD's out there. Your style makes it easy to learn and produce sellable Bears right away, and with your help I'll be carving Faces in no time. I have purchased others that weren't much help, yours is a winner. Thanks for making it.
